OUP French Textbooks

A second year project ran by Oxford University Press to design a set of three textbook covers for 11-14 year olds learning KS3 French. I decided on a digitally illustrated cover design that used watercolour style elements and a very sketched drawing style. The illustrations are based on Parisian landmarks, as they will be recognisable to the age range. In the wash of colour there are lighter sketches of skylines and maps. The colour scheme uses the colours of the flag and then has the addition of the purple colour as a transitional colour.
