President Obama on the Death of Osama bin Laden

This was a University of Reading third year brief to pick a famous speech in history and illustrate it into a booklet showing both text and imagery. This speech was selected due to the level of imagery that can relate to the nature of this speech. The speech also allows a look at American patriotism and the war on terror. Justice is a running theme through out which is something that can be considered through the combination of word and image. War is also an interesting topic to look at in terms of the controversy surrounding it. This is a fight that is particularly interesting to look at as the speech giver was not actually involved in the beginning of this war as it was not in his presidency.
